WOUB

WOUB Radio and Television are public broadcasting services of Ohio University. Located on the Athens campus, they are part of the WOUB Center for Public Media. The Center is a non-academic unit of the Scripps College of Communication. Our mission is to provide a high quality public service to southeastern Ohio and portions of neighboring West Virginia and Kentucky. We also serve as a laboratory for Ohio University students, who are interested in gaining experience in broadcasting and related technologies.

In addition to radio and television, WOUB is also active in distance learning, online services, and media production.

eTSEO partners in Educational Technology with the WOUB Center for Public Media at Ohio University.

Educational Technology for Southeastern Ohio (eTSEO) is a public, nonprofit corporation governed by school administrators and funded entirely by member school districts and the eTech Ohio Commission. We provide educational technology services and resources to K-12 schools in an eighteen county region of Southeastern and Eastcentral Ohio.

We are multimedia content developers, producers and distributors. We help K-12 educators integrate technology with teaching and learning. The following curriculum and technology resources are available at no cost to school districts through the eTSEO Basic Services:

  • PowerMediaplus.com Internet media-on-demand multimedia curriculum resources
  • eTSEO catalogs and newsletters
  • Teacher planning guides

Beyond the basics . . .

Designed to support the use of technology in the curriculum, eTSEO Enhanced Services are available to school districts for a participation fee of 55¢ per pupil on a K-12 ADM basis. For more information, please contact infowizard@etseo.org.
