WOSU Public Media serves as a gateway to nonprofit educational and cultural resources in the central Ohio community. Each week, 28,000 teachers and over 392,000 students receive our daily educational programming and services.
WOSU.TV/WPBO.TV reaches an audience of nearly 500,000 viewers a week; WOSU-FM, 89.7, brings the greatest in classical music to the homes and offices of over 95,000 listeners; WOSU-AM, NPR 820, challenges the thoughts of more than 72,000 central Ohioans; and www.wosu.org draws more than 14,000 visitors a month to its pages.
WOSU.TV signed on the air in 1956, and our broadcasting community grew in 1974 with the addition of WPBO.TV in Portsmouth. WOSU-FM, Classical 89.7, has been broadcasting since 1949. WOSU-FM is the flagship of the five-station classics network, which includes WOSV, Mansfield (91.7); WOSP, Portsmouth (91.5); WOSE, Coshocton (91.1 & 89.5), and WOSB, Marion (91.1). WOSU-AM, NPR 820, broadcasts public affairs programming and in-depth global news coverage.

Instructional Technology Services of Central Ohio, Inc. (ITSCO) is a state funded, non-profit corporation. Serving the schools in 20 counties of central Ohio, ITSCO is one of Ohio's eight Ed Tech agencies. We offer instructional programming and the latest in technology integration, planning, professional development, presentations, equipment loaning to schools, and many other services described in the ITSCO Resource Catalog. Basic services are provided to member schools at no charge. There is a fee for the additional services ITSCO offers.
- Instructional Programming: The transmission is provided by WOSU-TV, Channel 34, Columbus and WPBO-TV, Channel 42, Portsmouth. We offer over 200 series for broadcast or on videotape for grades pre-kindergarten through staff development. During the year we broadcast or videotape many teleconferences and other specials.

- Workshops: ITSCO offers Macintosh, Windows, curriculum-based, and general technology workshops. These are presented in the individual buildings of our member schools or in our technology lab.

- Website: Our website provides information on all of our current services. From our site you can find links to other educational sites, including professional and governmental organizations, schools, and universities.
- Technology Planning: Consultants are available to meet with you and help evaluate your needs for the future as well as assist with technology planning.
- Videotape Library: We loan videotapes from our VTL library to member schools. For more information about the VTL, teachers should consult their ITSCO Catalog.
